Mint Closet: a custom system for a dress rental shop
The Mint Closet management system, built for a party dress rental shop in Santa Maria, Brasília, brings contracts, schedule, inventory, clients, finances and messages into one place. Travazaga built it around the shop's routine, which by September 2026 counted more than 725 digitally signed contracts in the year and about 100 fewer hours of manual work a month.

Starting point
Mint Closet rents party dresses in Santa Maria, in Brazil's Federal District, for weddings, graduations and galas. Before the system, the shop ran on paper contracts, a notebook schedule and a spreadsheet for inventory.
Nothing talked to anything else. Each rental turned into notes in different places, and the risk of renting the same dress twice for overlapping dates was real. The team also lacked the numbers of its own business, such as the most rented dresses, the regular clients and the busiest days.
The shop needed a system built for its routine, from fitting to return, that the team could use at the counter without long training.
What we built
We built a custom system where the contract feeds everything else: schedule, inventory, finances and messages. The dashboard opens the day with pickups, returns and late items, and the calendar shows the whole month's fittings, pickups and returns.
In the inventory, each dress shows whether it is available, rented or at the laundry. Each client has a record with address and measurements. When the attendant picks a dress, a client and dates, the piece is reserved, and the system blocks a second rental for the same period.
Each contract starts from one of the shop's templates, and every change becomes an amendment. The client signs on her phone with a digital signature and gets the PDF by email right away. WhatsApp sends messages on its own, from the contract being ready to the reminder on pickup day.
In finances, the deposit, the balance and late fees are recorded without anyone typing them. Reports show the top pieces and the busiest days, and the settings define deadlines, messages and who can access what.
What changed
With the routine inside the system, the operation breathed again. In September 2026, the shop had more than 725 digitally signed contracts in the year and more than 580 clients in the system, each with a rental history. The 1,450 sheets of paper printed every year are no longer used.
The shop estimates about 100 fewer hours of manual work and rework a month. That time became a new business: besides renting, Mint Closet started selling dresses and accessories on the shop's website.
The video at the top of this page walks through the system module by module, with fictional data from start to finish.
